Why can’t we get a set top box that will block out celebrity news. You could even set the “Q Score” level. If a celebrity had a high negative “Q Score” like Brittney, they wouldn’t get past the screen. (Q Score is a measure of a celebrity’s popularity)

I have to write a compare and contrast essay on the history of television shows. I have to pick out main points for the body paragraphs.

So far I have:

-Television shows today are much more violent.
-More raunchier, more sexual.
-Foul language.
-Reality shows/Instant celebrity.

Any other ideas? And does anyone know where I can find research for my main points? Like statistics and such?

Just think celebrities do not deserve my attention - It is my own life, not theirs!

Im doing a research paper on the effects of female celebrities on young girls. In trying to find research i have notices that there are only few places that you can get suitable information

Because it is an actual research paper, i cant use the obviouse blogs like Perez (even thought they are faster and more reliable..) I am also prohibited from using news articals that dont explicatly state the writer…like, i cant use articals written by the associated press, even if MSNBC bought and posted it on thier website…This is understandable because if a writer isnt willing to put their name to something how can you expect that the information theya re spouting is valid?
