America has a fixation with celebrity adoration. I do find it worrisome when the 6 o’clock leads of with a story about some overpaid celebrity, then follows it with a (fill in the disaster) story.
Sad. Terrorists could invade and start blowing up buildings, but first they’ll cover Paris Hilton’s latest shenanigans. Very sad.
This is to keep us distracted as to what really goes on in this world, like the war for example.
Since there is nothing good to say or report on the war at hand, it is easier to clutter our minds with mundane crap like what celebs say, wear and ect.
