Possibly because in the entertainment industry, many LGBT people are open about their sexuality and their many friends know they are not demons or evil doers but simply ordinary people who happen to have a different sexuality.
Ignorance is not everywhere, sometimes it just seems like it is!

I think it has to do with publicity. They don’t want to be seen as discriminatory for that would taint their image. Same with Obama too for the same reasons. With celebrities it is all about protecting their image anyway they can which is one reason I don’t like a lot of them.
I personally do not support *** marriage and or Obama. I would rather have Pailin as president than him.

It’s called PR.
They have to support black rights, *** rights, ect. If not they would loose that fan base and therefore loose movie roles, and ultimately money for the studio and themselves.
So DUH they have to keep the public happy and loving the crap that they do.
Hollywood is the pentacle of **** kissing and people pleasing.

I’d say most just don’t want the criticism of being non-supportive of gays. Others probably have faced a lot of criticism themselves and have learned not to judge people. Perhaps they just wanted more fans or to save face. Either way, saying one thing and believing another is common-place these days. So I don’t pay much attention to it.
If you’re Christian, you shouldn’t be judging *** people anyway. It is their right and their choice to be ***. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that you should shun them and **** them and scorn them. No one has the right to judge anyone else, especially if you are Christian because that would mean you’re a hypocrite. God is the only judge.
