I don’t think it is money,take Nick&Jessica their marriage didn’t last long and they both have money,And their marriage last 3 years and Jessica is a Spoil Brat… So now i am glad that they broke up and went there own way

i Think its because celebrities by their very nature are self obsessed and sharing the limelight with someone else is something they cannot do. look at all the celebraties who stay married for a long time, their partners are never or rarely seen in public so are not threat to their partners celebrity status
