“The X Factor” is a label for something that we don’t understand. The observer doesn’t know what it is or why it works, only that it obviously is working. It’s that something that you can’t quite put your finger on.
If you can’t quite put your finger on it, it’s kinda hard to intentionally enhance it.

they have that X tra something, nobody can put their finger on why or what it is but it is there. I think you have it or you don’t.
