For centuries royal families have been held to a higher standard, and what they said and thought weighed more than the average citizen of said society. American celebrities, many times not having any relevant experience, voice political opinions which many consider gospel. So my question is twofold: Is the American Rich & Famous the modern day royalty of our culture? Will this lead to the eventual division in American society in political matters and the balance of power in America?
